Inspired by concepts of patriarchy and the lived experience of the lead singer Parissa Tosif, Vallis Alps newest album Cleave officially releases on August 24th, 2023. We collaborated with Color Coded Crime to style, design and do art direction for “Higher than This” and “Set it off, Set it Right” The films are a continuation of a language that explores the emotional journey of the album. Shot by the Indian production house Peru Films and the visionary director Tanmay Chowdhary, the films explore themes of the fragility of the male ego. The styling and creative direction on the films reflect this journey through the wardrobe design, color choices, and production design.
